Community

The table I set for other women.

What started as a small cookbook moms club in Waterloo has become a monthly themed brunch series for women who want a softer, more intentional kind of community.

How it started.

When I moved to Waterloo and became a mom, postpartum isolation hit harder than I expected. I wanted to meet other women who loved to cook, who wanted to talk about something other than work, and who were also trying to find their people in a new city.

So I started a small cookbook moms club. A few women, one recipe a month, real conversation around a table. It became the thing I looked forward to most.

Where it's going.

The club has grown into a monthly themed brunch series for women in Waterloo Region. Wreath making in the fall. Galentine's in February. Jewelry making, high tea, flower arrangement. Each one is an excuse to slow down, make something with our hands, and talk to each other.

It's also where my next chapter is taking shape: a monthly themed brunch in partnership with Waterloo Region tech leaders, and an end-to-end GTM platform for event launches.
